Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Services provided by Hexel Studio, Inc. ("Hexel," "Company," "we," "us"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms and Conditions and applies to all customers, authorized users, developers, agents, integrations, APIs, and SDKs.
Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings set forth in the Terms and Conditions.
1. Purpose of This Policy
Hexel Studio provides an enterprise Agent Cloud platform that enables autonomous and semi-autonomous systems to interact with real data and real operational systems.
Because misuse of such systems creates material legal, security, and safety risks, strict acceptable use rules are required.
This AUP defines prohibited conduct and governs enforcement actions.
2. General Use Requirements
You agree to use the Services:
- Solely for lawful, authorized, and legitimate business purposes
- In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- In accordance with all policies, permissions, and controls defined within the platform
You are responsible for all actions taken by:
- Your authorized users
- Your agents
- Your integrations and tools
- Any system operating under your credentials
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not, directly or indirectly, use the Services to:
3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activity
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Facilitate criminal activity or fraud
- Assist in money laundering or financial crime
- Evade law enforcement or regulatory oversight
3.2 Surveillance, Exploitation, or Abuse
- Conduct unauthorized surveillance or monitoring
- Track individuals without lawful basis or consent
- Exploit vulnerable populations
- Engage in harassment, coercion, or discrimination
3.3 Deceptive or Misleading Practices
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Misrepresent agent autonomy as human decision-making
- Generate deceptive communications or content
- Conceal the use of automation where disclosure is required
3.4 Circumvention of Governance or Controls
- Bypass policies, approvals, or permissions
- Disable or evade logging, audit, or monitoring mechanisms
- Mask agent actions or execution paths
- Use undocumented or unsupported interfaces to access the platform
3.5 Security Abuse
- Introduce malware, exploits, or malicious code
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with or disrupt platform operations
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks
3.6 Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets
- Submit content without proper rights or authorization
- Generate or distribute infringing material
3.7 High-Risk Autonomous Actions Without Safeguards
- Execute irreversible actions without approval workflows
- Deploy fully autonomous agents for high-risk domains without oversight
- Use agents to make binding legal, medical, or financial decisions without human review
3.8 Misuse of AI and Models
- Attempt to extract model internals or training data
- Use models in violation of third-party license terms
- Repurpose outputs to violate law or policy
- Circumvent safeguards implemented by Hexel or model providers
4. Resource and Usage Abuse
You may not:
- Exceed usage limits intentionally
- Create excessive load that degrades service
- Abuse free, trial, or promotional access
- Attempt to avoid metering or billing mechanisms
5. Responsibility for Data
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to submit and process all data used
- Data processing complies with applicable privacy laws
- You have obtained necessary consents and authorizations
Hexel does not validate data legality on your behalf.
6. Enforcement
Hexel reserves the right to take enforcement action at its sole discretion, including:
- Immediate suspension of agents or environments
- Revocation of API keys or credentials
- Termination of accounts
- Reporting to authorities where required by law
Hexel may take such actions with or without notice where necessary to protect the platform, customers, or the public.
7. No Expectation of Privacy in Abuse Investigations
To enforce this AUP, Hexel may:
- Review logs, execution traces, and audit records
- Investigate suspicious activity
- Preserve evidence as required by law
Such activities are conducted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and DPA.
8. Changes to This Policy
Hexel may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
